The IAEA has approved the site for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliev said, Report informs referring to Kazakh media.
He noted that the nuclear power plant will be built on the territory of the village of Ulken.
“Nuclear energy is the energy of the future, without it, it is impossible to achieve carbon neutrality,” he added.
