DIng Tao: Baku-Beijing green energy cooperation will be mutually beneficial

The development of green energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and China will be mutually beneficial for the two countries, Ding Tao, China's charge d'affaires in Azerbaijan, said at a press conference on the results of the SCO Heads of State Council Meeting, Report informs.

“Green energy cooperation will be mutually beneficial as it meets Azerbaijan's energy transition needs, as well as China's needs. With the participation of the Chinese side, the Garadag solar power plant has already been put into operation. In addition, Chinese companies are also involved in wind energy projects,” the diplomat said.

Tao also said that the economic cooperation between the two countries has great potential in production and investment:

“Equal rights to start a business are guaranteed in Azerbaijan. The number of Chinese companies investing in Azerbaijan will increase.”
