bp to support training of renewable energy specialists in Azerbaijan

Tomorrow, bp will sign a framework agreement with the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University (ASOIU), Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, bp's vice president for communications and external affairs in the Caspian region, told Report.
"Some time ago, a contract was signed between bp and the Ministry of Education. Tomorrow's agreement will be signed on the basis of this. Thus, ASOIU will have a dual degree master's program with one of the British universities," he said.
According to him, under the agreement, more than 100 specialists in the field of renewable energy will be trained in Azerbaijan over the next three years.
