BP regional president on importance of Caspian region

The Caspian region is very important for BP, company's Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkiye Gary Jones said at a conference within the Baku Energy Week, Report informs.

This is a safe route for energy supplies, he said.

Clean energy, where a lot of capital is being invested and which includes many projects, should also be discussed, Gary Jones said.

He stressed that most activities are carried out at ACG.

According to Jones, BP needs to introduce new technologies, and work in this direction is underway.
