Bonus payments to SOFAZ from oil and gas contracts to increase next year

In 2023, the bonus payments from the implementation of oil and gas agreements signed in Azerbaijan are predicted to be 800.8 million manats or $471 million, 23.8 million manats ($14 million) or 3.1% more than 2021, Report informs, citing the opinion of the Chamber of Accounts on a budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) for 2023.

This figure is also up 32.1 million manats ($18.8 million) or 4.4% from the confirmed indicator of 2022, and 31.9 million manats ($18.7 million) or 4.1% from the forecasted indicator.
