Azerbaijan starts exporting lubricating oils to 2 more countries

In January-August 2022, Azerbaijan exported 17,587 tons of lubricating oils worth $20.99 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 30% more in value terms and 13% less in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.

Turkiye received 10,000 tons (+5.2%) of products for $10.144 million (+51.3%), Ukraine bought 1,892 tons (-72.7%) for $2.464 million (-55.4 %), Iraq - 1,581 tons (+2.7 times) for $2.24 million (+3.2 times), Bosnia and Herzegovina - 1,079 tons for $1.476 million, 580,600 tons were sold to Italy for $812,900 (there were no deliveries a year ago).

This year, for the first time in the last 11 years, deliveries were made to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain. As many as 60 tons of oil were sent to Spain for $95,100.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 40,680 tons (+63.8%) of lubricating oils for $81.888 million (+50.3%).
