Azerbaijan sees remarkable growth in natural gas exports to Türkiye

Azerbaijan exported 838,353,450 cubic meters of natural gas, valued at $254,695,240 to Türkiye in January 2024, Report informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to January 2023, this is 17.9 times (or 791,586,670 cubic meters) more in volume, and 6 times (or $212, 317,210) in value.

Overall, Azerbaijan exported 1,931,879,690 cubic meters of natural gas worth $739,790,780 in January of this year, representing an increase of 7.6 times in volume, and 5.3 percent in value compared to the same month last year.

Meanwhile, in 2023, Azerbaijan exported a total of 10,854,265,000 cubic meters of natural gas to Türkiye worth $3,681,484,940.
