Azerbaijan's commercial gas production up by 8%

In January 2021, Azerbaijan produced over 3.08 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate, including 3.075 million tons fell on marketable crude oil, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.

Oil production during the reporting period dropped 3.9% (marketable oil production showed a 4% decrease).

In the first month of 2021, the country produced slightly over 3.518 billion cubic meters of natural gas. The marketable natural gas accounted for 2.604 billion cubic meters of this volume.

In January, natural gas production rose by 0.6% in annual terms, while commercial gas production increased by 7.9%.
