Azerbaijan resumes import of kerosene from Netherlands

In January-June of 2024, Azerbaijan imported 12,888 tons of kerosene fuel (except kerosene fuel for jet engines) worth $11 million, 11% more in quantity and 20% less in value year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 9,708 tons (+72%) of kerosene worth $5.89 million (+77%) from Turkmenistan, 2,997 tons (-14%) worth $4.75 million (-15%) from Belgium, 144 tons (-94%) worth $202,000 (-95.8%) from Türkiye, 20 tons (no supply a year ago) worth $94,000 from South Korea, 2.51 tons (-33%) worth $23,340 (+93%) from the UK.
After a year and nine months, Azerbaijan resumed the supply of kerosene from the Netherlands (0.3 tons worth $2,400).
