Azerbaijan reduces polyethylene exports by 26% in 2022

According to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 48,301.5 tons of polyethylene in primary forms worth $68,720.35 thousand in January-June 2022, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

According to the committee, the export of polyethylene is 26.4% less in monetary value and 9.1% less in quantity than last year.

In January-June 2022, the share of polyethylene in non-oil sector exports was 4.72%. During the reporting period, the percentage of polyethylene in primary forms in the country's total export was 0.37%.
