Azerbaijan more than doubles electricity exports

Azerbaijan exported 512.6 million kWh of electricity in January 2023, up 265.4 million kWh or 2.1 times from the same period in 2022, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry.
According to the information, the country imported 10.8 million kWh in January 2023, up 0.1 million kWh or 0.94% from the same period in 2022.
In the reporting period, the electricity production across the country made up 2,755.9 billion kWh, showing a 195.9 million kWh or 7.7% growth in comparison to a year earlier.
