Azerbaijan increases oil sales to Israel by 44%

In January-March 2024, Azerbaijan exported over 1.021 million tons (43.7% more YoY) of crude oil to Israel for over $621 million (39.3% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
The share of crude oil exported to Israel accounted for 18.24% of Azerbaijan's total oil exports.
In January-March 2024, Azerbaijan exported over 5.6 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks for $3.49 billion.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan carried out $9.696 billion worth of trade operations with foreign countries. The country’s exports amounted to $5.984 billion, while the imports reached $3.712 billion.
