Azerbaijan increases gas supply to Europe by 7%

During January-May of this year, 4.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas (+0.3 billion cubic meters or 6.7%) was exported from Azerbaijan to Europe, said the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for the months of January-May, Report informs.
In total, gas sales from Azerbaijan abroad in January-May of this year amounted to 10.3 billion cubic meters, 9.6% more than in January-May of last year.
During this period, 4.3 billion cubic meters of gas (+0.7 billion cubic meters or 19.4%) were sold from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and 1.2 billion cubic meters to Georgia (-0.1 billion cubic meters or 7.7%).
