Azerbaijan increases gas sales to Italy by over 4%

In January-August 2023, Azerbaijan exported 6.661 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Italy, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

The value of natural gas exports to Italy amounted to $6.353 billion.

In quantitative terms, the growth amounted to 284.262 million cubic meters (by 4.46%), in value terms there was a decrease in exports by $111.396 million (by 14.9%).

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan as a whole exported 10.452 billion cubic meters of natural gas worth $17.391 billion.

Over eight months, the share of natural gas in total exports of Azerbaijan amounted to 42.92%.
