Azerbaijan increases diesel fuel production by 4%

In January–August 2025, Azerbaijan produced 1.6288 million tons of diesel fuel, a 4.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to Report, citing the State Statistics Committee, the total value of petroleum products manufactured in the country during the reporting period amounted to 3.5625 billion manat, down 0.1% year-on-year.
Over eight months, Azerbaijan produced 946,400 tons of motor gasoline (–2.8%), 57,600 tons of fuel oil (+2.2 times), 25,100 tons of lubricating oils (–42.8%), and 159,500 tons of petroleum bitumen (–9.3%).
Production volumes also included 150,900 tons of liquefied gas (+13.9%), 463,100 tons of kerosene (+7.5%), and 149,800 tons of petroleum coke (+8.2%).
