Azerbaijan cut diesel fuel production 17% this year

The total producing value in the field of oil products in Azerbaijan in January-November this year amounted to 3.693 billion manats ($2.172 billion), Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

This figure is 5.3% less than in January-November 2021.

During the reporting period, 1.159 million tons of motor gasoline, 1.855 million tons of diesel fuel, 38,600 tons of lubricating oils, 327,000 tons of petroleum bitumen were produced.

For the eleven months, the production of motor gasoline in Azerbaijan increased by 1.8%, the production of petroleum bitumen decreased by 5.8%, diesel fuel fell by 17.1%, lubricating oils decreased by 26.6%.

Also, in January-November this year, Azerbaijan produced 267,300 tons of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry, 513,300 tons of white oil, 77,100 tons of fuel oil, 187,500 tons of petroleum coke.

The production of gasoline for use in the petrochemical industry in Azerbaijan over the past year decreased by 27.9%, petroleum coke production fell by 20.2%, fuel oil by 30% and white oil by 16.6%.
