Azerbaijan, China ink MoU on energy

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the National Energy Administration of China.

Report informs, referring to the Ministry of Energy, the memorandum was signed during the meeting of Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, who is visiting China within the framework of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, with Zhang Jianhua, the head of the National Energy Administration of China.

This document envisages the expansion of bilateral relations in the energy sector of both countries, cooperation on the application of new technologies, renewal of energy infrastructure, promotion of mutual investment and business activities, exchange of experience in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as the holding of joint conferences, forums and trainings.
