Azerbaijan boosts oil export to Israel

In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan exported 1,021,917.30 tons of crude oil worth $621,083,920 to Israel, rising by 27.6% in volume and 24% in value from the corresponding period of 2023, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The share of crude oil exported to Israel in the total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 14.75%.

Overall, Azerbaijan exported 6,928,455.79 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $4,364,589,720 in the first four months of this year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth over $13.633 billion.

Export operations accounted for over $8.168 billion, and imports for $5.464 billion. In the last one year, exports decreased by 35.1%, while imports increased by 3.1%.
