Aygun Zeynalova, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources (AREA), announced the conditions set for investors on renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan at the seminar themed "Agreeing the main terms of contracts signed with investors and minimizing risks" held in Baku, Report informs.
According to Zeynalova, it is important that the contracts are agreed, the risks of the parties involved in the projects are minimized, as well as international financial institutions consider them effective and the necessary conditions in the contracts are included within the negotiations with investors on renewable energy projects.
Representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Central Bank and the Energy Regulatory Agency also took part in the seminar organized by AREA and held by representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank group, and lawyers of an international law firm.
