Atyrau Refinery to reach full design capacity in early November

The Atyrau Refinery in Kazakhstan is scheduled to reach full design capacity in the first ten days of November, Report informs, citing the press service of the enterprise.

The press service notes that the bulk of planned maintenance work at the plant has been completed, and the remaining work is being carried out according to schedule.

The day before, the refinery launched the first stage of the plant’s process units. Daily oil refining is 9,500 tons, and production of commercial products has also begun: gasoline - 1,200 tons per day, diesel fuel - 1,500 tons per day.

At the remaining installations, the bulk of the maintenance work has almost been completed. According to the schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, it is planned to bring the equipment into production mode one by one.

Cleaning of equipment, the furnaces and reactors, replacement of worn-out equipment and catalysts, modification of internal devices of equipment, etc. were carried out. Inspection and testing of pressure vessels continue.

A project to install an automated monitoring system for emissions into the environment is also being implemented.
