American oil company Halliburton stops work in Russia

The American oilfield services company Halliburton has announced the curtailment of activities in Russia, Report informs that the corresponding statement was published on the company's website.

"Halliburton has announced the immediate cessation of future operations in Russia as the company complies with sanctions prohibiting operations and work, including for certain state-owned Russian clients. Halliburton will prioritize safety and reliability as it winds down its remaining operations in Russia," the company said in a statement.
