Balakhani field to increase oil production 3% this year

The Balakhani field is projected to produce 1.62 million barrels of oil in 2021, Report informs citing the Chamber of Accounts' opinion on a budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) for 2021.
According to the document, 1.58 million barrels of oil will be extracted in 2020, which is 2.53% less than the forecast for 2021.
In 2019, the figure was 1.74 million barrels, which is 6.9% more than this year's forecast.
