Supermoon will be observed on July 13, which is the second Supermoon of 2022, Report informs.
According to the Department of Astrophysics of the Baku State University (BSU), two important astronomical events related to the Moon will also take place today: the perigee and the Full Moon.
Perigee will occur at 1:09 pm (GMT+4) on July 13. The Moon will come as close as 357,263 km to the Earth and the apparent diameter of the Moon will be 33 minutes and 27 seconds. The Full Moon will appear at 10:38 pm (GMT+4). It will be possible to observe the Supermoon event throughout the night from the territory of Azerbaijan.
