Heydar Aliyev Foundation has built a new building for the secondary school of the Azadgaragoyunlu village of the Tartar district.
According to Report, a new building was put into use on the occasion of September 15 - Knowledge Day.
The head of Tartar District Executive Power, Mustagim Mammadov, head of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Science and Education, Sabuhi Mahmudov, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Elvin Aslanov, representative of the Karabakh Regional Education Department, Dayanat Farzaliyev, public representatives, teachers and students of the school participated in the inaguration ceremony.
It was reported that the Azadgaragoyunlu village secondary school named after Shukur Rahimov, built in 1979, became unusable, so the Heydar Aliyev Foundation undertook the reconstruction of the building, and as a result, 320 students will be able to study at the same time in the new school building, which was inaugurated today.
The new school building consists of 3 floors and a basement. The total construction area of the building is 3,137.7 square meters. The school building has 16 classrooms, a chemistry, physics, biology laboratory, computer science room, military training room, two technology rooms, a medical room, a gymnasium, a meeting hall, a library, a canteen and administrative offices.
Landscaping and greening works have been done in the school area.
It was reported that the work done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the mentioned school was implemented to ensure the quality of education and the continuous growth of children's knowledge and skills.
It should be noted that the school employs 34 teaching staff and 12 technical staff. 290 pupils study in 16 classes of the school.
