Nobel laureate Aziz Sancar elected honorary member of ANAS

Nobel laureate Aziz Sancar was elected an honorary member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

Report informs that the related issue was discussed at the general meeting of ANAS held on November 29.

Taking into account the petition of the general meeting of the Chemical Sciences Department of ANAS, an open vote was held at the general meeting of ANAS regarding the election of Nobel laureate Aziz Sanjar as an honorary member of ANAS. According to the voting results, Nobel laureate Aziz Sanjar was elected an honorary member of ANAS.
