Ministry of Education: More than 80,000 students will finish 11th grade this year

In the 2018-2019 academic year, 113,815 students will finish the 9th grade of the general educational education schools, while 80,514 people will graduate from 11th grade and 674 students will finish the 12th grade of remote (evening) secondary schools, Report informs citing the Ministry of Education.

According to the information, 28,993 people will finish the 9th grades of secondary schools under Baku City Education Department (BSTI) , while 19,786 students will graduate from the 11th grades. 45,616 people in the capital city will finish the 1st grade.

At the same time, 7,188 people will complete 5,200 preparation groups in 2 977 general education schools in the country.

Moreover, 164,234 children are expected to enroll in the first grades of general education schools in the new academic year. 77,542 of them are girls, while 86,692 are boys.
