Education Department: Strong wind damaged some schools in Baku

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ As a result of heavy winds, some schools in Baku have suffered a considerable damage. Baku city Education Department told Report. Part of the roof of the full-school secondary school No. 188 in Pirshagi settlement of Sabunchu district has fallen due to heavy wind. Relevant bodies were informed about it. No injuries have been reported.

Also, as a result of the strong wind, roof coverings of complete secondary schools No. 97, 165, 228 were damaged and part of the roof of the boiler-house of complete secondary school  No 197 was torn apart.

Several trees fell down in the territory of secondary schools No. 126, 14, 253. No injuries have been reported, and currently these areas are under control.
