Darkhan Kydyrali: Great Turkiс atlas is being prepared

"A book on geography and literature of the Turkic peoples is being prepared," the president of the International Turkish Academy (TVESCO), Darkhan Kydyrali told French Bureau of Report News Agency.

"We have prepared a joint history book of Turkic peoples, which is based on the agreement reached between the Education Ministers. This book is envisaged to be taught in secondary schools. At present, common geography and literature books of the Turkic people are being prepared. As a continuation of this tradition, we will publish common books of Turkish peoples," he said.

Kydyrali also said that the great Turkiс Atlas is also prepared: A book called “Toponym atlas " is being compiled. Maps of the Turkic states that existed at different times of history, will be described in the book. The territories surrounded by Seljuks, Safavids or Ottoman Empire will be shown on these maps as well. The book will also include maps featuring territories of Aq Qoyunlu, Kara Koyunlular and other Turkic states."
