Ca' Foscari University of Venice opens office in Baku

Baku. 2 November. REPORT.AZ/ ADA University and Italian Ca' Foscari University of Venice have signed a memo of cooperation and student exchange.

Ca' Foscari University rector Michele Bugliesi told Report that this cooperation is of great importance for Italy.

"Azerbaijan and Italy have much in common. We have a long history of studying economy, education, culture, language and political ties. Our countries complement each other very well as part of their partnership," he said.

Bugliesi said that signing of this document and opening of the consulting office of Ca' Foscari University in Baku promote further development of these ties.

"We have chosen Baku as a strategic point. Launching an office here will allow us to cooperate closely in exchange of students, researches in economic and scientific spheres and to work on joint projects in the region, as a whole," he said.

The rector also noted that 35 students from Azerbaijan entered the Ca' Foscari University this year.
