BP and its partners have announced the successful launch of a social investment project, which is a new online learning resource, Report informs.
The one-year project, worth 200,000 manats ($118,000), provides additional learning opportunities for secondary school students in Azerbaijan.
The project, implemented by LANDAU Educational Technologies LLC, aims to develop mathematics learning materials for students in grades 5-9. The recently developed materials are openly accessible and offer a wide range of tools to support and improve the learning process, including:
• 359 video lessons with a total duration of 84 hours of engaging learning;
• 104 homework assignments containing a total of 721 questions;
• 1,265 quiz questions to assess students' understanding of the material;
• 359 PowerPoint presentations for each video lesson to help students understand complex topics;
• A digital learning module for teachers, containing video-format homework assignments and allowing them to assess student performance.
During the project launch ceremony, BP's vice president for the Caspian region, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, noted that in a period when the importance of online learning is steadily growing, accessible and high-quality online resources play a significant role.
"We believe that the project provides the necessary resources to help students build a solid foundation in mathematics, and also ensures that children from all regions of the country, including children with special educational needs, receive the tools and support they need to succeed. By making these materials publicly available, we are expanding access to valuable learning resources for all students, regardless of their location or circumstances," he said.
