Baku to host THE Eurasian Universities Summit

Baku will host the “THE Eurasian Universities Summit” on September 24-25, 2025, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education.

The summit will be held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, and jointly organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and the Times Higher Education (THE) international rating agency.

The summit, which will be organized under the theme "Transnational research: From knowledge to global impact," is expected to feature more than 50 globally recognized speakers in the relevant field, and over 350 participants representing nearly 150 organizations.

The summit will include discussions on the following areas:

• Global research impact: Leveraging the strengths of the Eurasian region

• The role of higher education in achieving Sustainable Development Goals

• Connecting continents: Opportunities for collaboration and innovation
