Academician Isa Habibbayli has been elected the President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Report informs.

The general meeting approved the candidacy of academician Isa Habibbayli for the post of the President of ANAS.
Report informs that Habibbayli became the only candidate for this post. The voting is currently ongoing.
The meeting also approved the new charter of ANAS.
