ADA school receives right to teach under IB International Diploma Program

The ADA school, founded at the university in 2019, received the right to teach the IB international diploma program, Report informs.
According to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the ADA University Vafa Kazdal, from the first day, the school and the university tried to achieve international standards.
She noted that the school applied for an IB certificate even before the pandemic, and the appropriate permission has recently been received.
"This creates a platform and opportunities for new achievements," she said, noting that the international system will be adapted to Azerbaijan's educational standards.
Thus, the subjects necessary for Azerbaijan will also be taught.
In turn, the head of the Baku City Education Department Mehriban Valiyeva noted that this program is already being used in Azerbaijani schools and allows developing the knowledge necessary for the modern world.
The IB program is an international diploma of complete secondary education, which is recognized by universities around the world. The IB program operates 2,718 international schools around the world in 125 countries.
