Barda. 7 March. REPORT.AZ/ A boy from Barda district walks 10 km to school in Zardab district every day.

Report’s Karabakh bureau informs that 13-year-old Ali Rasul Humbatov, an IDP from Lachin district, who lives in Babameshe territory of Barda, walks 10 km to Khasa secondary school named after Migdar Umudov in Zardab district by corssing the Kur river by a boat.

"I leave home at 8 a.m. and get to school in an hour. In spite of the long distance, I am never late or miss lessons. I get excellent marks.I want to become a policeman in the future. Teachers, residents of Khasa village are kind to me," he said.

Babameshe is located 25 km from the most remote settlement of Barda district. Nearly 10 families internally displaced persons from Lachin have settled in this territory. The main employment is animal-breeding. Only Ali Humbatov studies in the territory.
