Jagoda Lazarević: Serbia committed to advancing free trade

Serbia is actively working to expand the number of countries with which it has signed free trade agreements, Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarević said at the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025), Report informs.
"We remain strongly focused on free trade. In this regard, we have been actively engaged over the past several years and continue to conclude new free trade agreements. We became the second European country, after Switzerland, to sign a free trade agreement with China. Recently, our agreement with Egypt also entered into force," the minister noted.
According to her, these developments demonstrate how a small country can compete and withstand the crises around it.
