Baku. 8 January. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.
Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department at the that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula is expected to be rainy. However, it will die down during the daytime for a short period of time. Occasionally intensifying south-west wind intensifying is expected to be replaced by strong north-west wind in the evening and will strengthen towards the night.
The temperature in Absheron peninsula is expected at 5-7 C at night and 9-12 C in the daytime, while in Baku the temperature will be 5-7 C at night and 9-11 C in the daytime.
The atmospheric pressure will rise from 754 mm to 764 mm mercury column. The relative humidity will make 80-90%.
In some regions of Azerbaijan occasional rain is expected and snow is predicted in mountainous areas on January 9.
The west wind will intensify in some places in the daytime.
The air temperature will vary from -2 C to +3 C at night and 7-12 C in the daytime, while mountainous areas will see the temperatures at 0-5 C at night, -7- -11 in high mountainous areas and 3-8 C in the daytime.
According to medical and meteorological forecasts, on January 9, on the background of the fall in atmospheric pressure on the Absheron Peninsula, the strong south wind will be replaced by strong north wind from January 9 to January 10. The relative volatility of meteorological factors in a short period of time is unfavorable for population.
