Senegal representative congratulates Azerbaijan as host country of COP29

"We congratulate Azerbaijan as the host country of COP 29," a representative of the Senegalese Green Party, Baye Salla Mar said, according to Report's correspondent in Dubai (UAE).

"We hope that the logistic challenge will be met and the major advance will be noted in long term of climate, finance, GST, GGI and the raising of ambition," he said.

He also thanked UAE for the successful organization of COP-28, reminding that they noted advances in terms of contribution in the loss and damage.

On December 11, Azerbaijan was officially announced the host of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29.
