Netherlands ready to share its water management experience with Azerbaijan

The Netherlands is ready to share experience and technologies in water resources management with Azerbaijan, Meike van Ginneken, Dutch Special Envoy for Water, told reporters in Baku, Report informs.

According to Meike van Ginneken, both the Netherlands and Azerbaijan are coastal countries and therefore face similar problems in terms of water resources management.

She noted that the main purpose of her visit to Baku is to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in solving water-related problems.

"We have extensive experience in water resources management, technology and water pollution management. But we can also learn a lot from Azerbaijan because there is experience here that is useful for us,” the envoy pointed out.
