Baku. 18 October. REPORT.AZ/ Monitoring in the Badamdar sliding area continues.

Report informs citing the headquarters established by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that a growth in the number of cracks in the left side of the sliding area was fixed during the monitorings and observations as at 12.00. New cracks appeared on the left side of the supporting wall. The fence of the house next to the supporting wall was slighly deformed.

Monitoring is underway at the Badamdar sliding zone, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

By the information from the headquarters established by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, increase of avalanches towards the fence walls was recorded in the sliding zone by results of the monitoring at 9:00 am.
 No change is observed in the beacons located on the walls of houses. Soil layer moved towards the road dramatically. General stable tension remains in the area.

Notably, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) has established a Supervisory Board in order to strengthen the control over the sliding process on the outskirts of the Badamdar – 20th Area motor road and to organize regular observations.
