Climate change is a global emergency, Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander de Croo said at the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai.
Report informs that, according to the prime minister, to resolve this issue it is necessary to move "from words to actions."
"To achieve net-zero emissions, we need to ensure a future based on green industry and construction," he said.
De Croo also emphasized that Belgium is currently paying great attention to the development of the renewable energy sector.
