Azerbaijan weather forecast for January 16

It is expected to rain in Baku and Absheron peninsula from the night of January 16 to 17, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan.

In some places, the precipitation is expected to intensify and turn into sleet, and snow in some high-altitude areas of the peninsula.

The weather will be windy until January 20.

Northwest wind will be replaced by southwest wind. The maximum wind speed will reach 23-28 m/s in some places.

The temperature will be +1 - +3 C in the first half of the day on January 17, and 0 - -1 C in the evening.

It is expected to rain, sleet and snow in the districts of Azerbaijan from January 16 to 17 in the evening, mainly in the southern and eastern regions.

In the coming days, the northwest wind is expected to be replaced by the southwest wind in the regions. The maximum wind speed will occasionally reach 23-28 m/s.
