Azerbaijan's ecology minister discusses COP29-related issues with Japanese ambassador

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Mukhtar Babayev, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan, Katsuya Watanabe, Report informs.
The meeting discussed environmental protection and future cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
The sides also exchanged opinions on COP29, the prestigious event to be hosted by Azerbaijan this year, the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement.
