Air temperature to drop 5-8C - WARNING

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued a warning due to the sharp change of weather condition.

The north-west wind will blow from March 16 until March 17 daytime following the abnormally warm weather observed in Baku and Absheron peninsula, the ministry’s National Hydrometeorological Department told Report.

The wind will blow at 18-23 m/s, occasionally 25-30 m/s, and on March 16, it will reach 32-35 m/s in some parts of the peninsula. On March 16-19, it will sometimes rain, and the temperature will be +7C to +10 C.

The south-west wind’s speed will be 15-20 m/s in the capital and the Absheron peninsula, and relatively high temperature will be observed on March 14.

In regions, the wind will blow at 15-20 m/s, and strengthen up to 30-35 m/s from March 16 to 17.

The temperature will drop 5-8C compared to previous days.

The unstable weather will dominate until the end of the second decade.
