"Monitoring of those who do not live in apartments allocated for IDPs continues," the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev said at the presentation of the book "The road to victory in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", Report informs.
"Each of the IDPs is dear to me. Sometimes IDPs do not own apartments and live in dormitories. IDPs living in dormitories are usually taken into account during resettlement. But later, we saw that they did not live in those houses. Therefore, we have 510 lawsuits in such cases. As soon as the court makes a decision, the families of IDPs, martyrs and veterans, which we have on our list, are placed in those apartments. This is not an easy task. There are such cases in our settlements in Baku and the regions," he stressed.
