Sadig Gurbanov: Azerbaijan to step up work on improving building energy efficiency

Azerbaijan will strengthen efforts to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, Sadig Gurbanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology, said during the Climate Action Week in Baku.
According to Report, he noted that parliamentary initiatives could enable the modernization of buildings in cities, including administrative centers.
"We have a new initiative aimed at ensuring higher energy efficiency in buildings. From now on, this issue will become one of the key priorities of our work," Gurbanov said.
He emphasized that Azerbaijan"s activities in the field of ecology have a significant international impact.
