Ali Ahmadov: Organizers of illegal protest are controlled by some forces

"Yeni Azerbaijan Party is not against any party's claim to come to power. But power change at any cost drives the country into chaos and anarchy. It is not acceptable in any country. It will not yield positive results," Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party said commenting on the unauthorized rally held on October 19.

According to him, there is a need to exchange views on the efforts of some opposition forces to hold an unauthorized rally. Like most of the citizens of Azerbaijan, the ruling party should express its determined and fair attitude to the illegal actions aimed at undermining stability and security in the country. Protests held by any oppositional parties in Azerbaijan are not a source of concern either for the Yeni Azerbaijan Party or for the country's authorities. However, there are some concerns that need to be expressed to the public."
