Number of illegal immigrants living in Azerbaijan announced

Number of illegal immigrants in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs that head of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov spoke at a press conference on the results of the six months of 2019 that 30% decline was observed in the number illegal immigrants in comparison with the corresponding period of 2018:

"Last year, 899 migrants were placed in detention centers, while 627 migrants this year. They are the citizens of India, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries," Huseynov said.
