Naike Gruppioni: 'I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the voters in Azerbaijan'

I was impressed by the participation of the Azerbaijani people in voting in the presidential elections, Naike Gruppioni, an observer from the Italian Parliament, told a press conference on the results of the monitoring, Report informs.

The parliamentarian noted that after returning to Italy, she intends to apply the experience she gained in Azerbaijan.

"I want to express my gratitude for the high organization of the election process. I also want to note that I was impressed by the enthusiasm and spirit of the Azerbaijani people participating in the voting. I was impressed by the activity of citizens from morning to afternoon. I would like voters in other countries of the world to be as interested in elections as in Azerbaijan," she said.
