Municipal elections in Azerbaijan: oldest citizen voted

The oldest citizen of Azerbaijan came to the polling station and voted.

Western bureau of Report informs, 116 year old resident of Ashagy Kasaman village of Agstafa Zahra Bannayeva Nabi (born in 1903), has voted in constituency No 19.  There are 38 polling stations and 42,674 voters. Five of the voters are over 100 years old. 707 candidates for district membership compete for 238 seats.

The elections are monitored by 393 people and cameras have been installed at 8 polling stations.
