The parliamentary elections held today in all sovereign territories of Azerbaijan confirm the country's political stability amidst a collapsing world order, said Igor Korotchenko, a Russian observer and the Director General of the Caspian Institute for Strategic Studies, Report informs.
"These are the first parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan that are held in all sovereign lands of the country, which confirms the country's political stability in the conditions of a collapsing world order. It is the stability of the political system that is the basis and foundation of Azerbaijan's confident development," he said.
Korotchenko noted that the election results will demonstrate Azerbaijan's high democratic standards to Western powers.
"The West, in particular countries like France, which is particularly zealous in criticizing Azerbaijan, have much to learn from the Azerbaijani electoral system. The modern political system of France is totalitarian and committed to neocolonial policies, setting an example of injustice, while modern Azerbaijan sets standards of justice for the West," he said.
The expert stressed that Azerbaijan will continue to confidently move forward together with friendly countries, including the Russian Federation.
